OPERATIONS

The Operations/Traffic department is responsible for ensuring that goods are delivered in line with the deadlines and specific conditions stipulated by our clients. We check the goods on reception, when loading, when unloading and on delivery, and we keep a fully traceable record of every package/shipment delivered to NTL. As far as we are concerned, your merchandise is our merchandise.
The Operations/Warehouse department takes receipt of your merchandise, checks it and prepares your orders as and when they come in, redirecting it to our transport management department for delivery within the agreed deadlines.

The main task of this department is to work on continuous improvement together with our regional staff across Spain. This helps us to provide our clients and our clients’ customers (consignees) with the contracted services as well as covering all the needs generated at regional office level.

CORP. MANAGEMENT

At NTL, every process that forms part of the company’s operations and management –from answering a telephone call to make a pick-up through to the return of the delivery confirmation signed by the customer – is done in accordance with the quality procedures that the company has established and certified. This department’s responsibility is to guarantee a consistently high level of service quality by complying with annual targets, most notably those of the ISO 9001 and 14001 standards. For this reason, every year we set ourselves ambitious goals which every department is required to fulfil, using indicator analyses, staff training, variance analyses, the creation of improvement teams, etc.

NTL’s Information Systems department is responsible for studying and implementing whatever improvements may be needed to update the company’s technology and meet all internal and external needs. Key aspects in this task include the search for new technologies in order to optimize our management systems and thus improve the service we offer our clients.

The Sales Department is responsible for studying the needs of our clients and offering them the best possible customized proposal, as well as conducting studies to optimize resources and holding improvement meetings to ensure our clients’ requirements are met. ADMINISTRATION

The Administration Department looks after all client-related functions, which essentially include clients’ and suppliers’ billing records, issuing invoices, paying associates, receiving and making payments from/to clients and suppliers, settlement of refunds, etc.

HUMAN RESOURCES

The Human Resources department is responsible for planning and developing a well-trained, skilled and motivated team of staff. At NTL we have a team of 170 staff on fixed contracts divided between the centres at Vic, Paterna and Coslada. We also have over 80 self-employed professionals working at the three centres on a regular basis to provide an even better service to our clients. The tasks of this department include handling new staff contracts, having previously selected the best candidates for the job; arranging training courses on both general and specific subjects, depending on the job position; and implementing current legislation on health and safety and the prevention of occupational risks.

PURCHASING

This department is responsible for obtaining the optimum material resources to efficiently provide the services that our clients have engaged us for.
As part of these functions we are also constantly maintaining and upgrading our fleet of vehicles as we realise that the final image of our clients depends to a large extent on the image conveyed by NTL.
